Family Dinner Plan: In Season Fruit

Fall is here.

Our box from Mariquita Farms contained Lettuces, Mixed Heirloom Tomatoes, Principe Borghese Tomatoes, Spigariello, Potatoes, Red Heart Peppers, and Avocados.

Here is my menu plan for the week of September 22:


Sunday: Grilled steaks, tomato salad, lettuce salad with avocado, sauteed spigariello (a friend of kale), mashed sweet potatoes

Monday: Slow Cooked Beef and Green Chile Stew, steamed and buttered potatoes, salad

Tuesday: Leftovers

Wednesday: Roast salmon, tomato salad, roast potatoes

Thursday: Taco Thursday! Beef tacos, with salsa, guacamole, salad

Friday: Takeout and Trashy TV
